Great deals every day for lunch special!
Very good coffee, best price around! Service is fast and very nice!
If you are looking for a good meal, this is a place!
They have empanadas, all kinds of meat and soups!
Try coffee come con leche! -

Terrible terrible food; the lomo was so chewey that I felt I was chewing bubble gum. The grilled fish had no flavor, the white rice was sticky and the beans where over cooked and extremely salty. If they just hired the cook, they need to fire him ASAP!
You guys give a bad name to the Colombian Cuisine! -

We went there on a Saturday afternoon and the restaurant was relatively empty: just us and another couple. We got their taco salad and the Coloumbian platter. The portions are huge. You can add chicken to the taco salad at an extra cost (We did not know they were going to charge extra for the chicken. The waitress asked us if we wanted chicken or beef on our salad as if it came with it for free...). These two dishes combined were enough for the two of us to get stuffed and have leftovers for the next meal. Their food is not super healthy: the taco bowl that the salad came in was drenched in oil, but it was crispy and delicious. Their guacamole is amazing and they are pretty generous with it.
I would recommend getting the food as take-out rather than dining in. The place is not super fancy and I would have rather ate it at home. Overall, it was great! -

Stopped in for breakfast this morning and wanted to see how this place is compared to their location in North Bay Village which I order delivery from all the time.
Located directly on A1A, we were lucky to find parking almost in front of their location. There's also a public lot across the street, just south of the intersection.
4/5 Bunuelo $1.60 were 2 round shaped patries that were good, and not dry. It had a sweet sugar outside dusted coating that gave it a nice touch that resembles a DD munchkin.
4/5 Chicharron $5.85 was good, and not too fatty and came with a small arepa. The skin was softer than I wanted, as it's usually crunchy.
2/5 American Breakfast $7.99 was ordered with scrambled eggs dry but came wet. The cuban bread was also completely over toasted and dried out. A small fruit fly that was hanging around the table landed on the ham and I killed it and left it there so I never ate it.
2/5 Tacos with Beef $8.99 (3) beef was dry and scarce for the price. The vegetable portion of it was fresh but the meat being so dry really spoiled my enjoyment of this dish. The guac and sour cream and pico was fresh tasting but still couldn't save it.
I really enjoy their other location as I order there almost once a week or more; their breaded chicken and steak are nice portions and when it comes delivered to me it's great, however, I didn't have the same feeling about this location when it comes to their food quality and control. There's nothing that I need to come back here for. -

The second I saw the help wanted ad for a cook on the door, I should have taken it as a sign not to eat at this restaurant. It took over an hour and a half to get our food. I asked for a well done steak and I received it raw. I asked the waitress to have it cooked for a bit longer and it was still red when I received it. I told the manager what happened and he said i should've ordered something else and was going to give me a 10% discount. I told him that I should only get charged for the rice and beans I ate. He told me to leave the restaurant and so I did. Before leaving, I handed the waitress a $20 tip bc it was not her fault the manager could not act in an appropriate manner when a customer complains. I have worked in the service industry for many years and the way this manager acted was unprofessional and out of order. To make matters worse, the food lacks flavor. Do yourself a favor, go to Mi Tierra. They have the best Colombian food in the area!
